Patients who are hypersensitive to this drug, are breastfeeding under 3 months of age, or have genetic problems such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this drug. Before taking this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have hyperoxaluria (a condition in which excessive amounts of oxalate is excreted in the urine), pregnant women, women who may be pregnant, lactating women, premature infants, infants, patients with gout or kidney stones, patients with folic acid deficiency, patients with a predisposition to thrombosis, or patients with or experience hypersensitivity to Yellow No. 5. Be sure to follow the prescribed usage and dosage. It may interfere with the detection of blood sugar during various urinalysis tests, and may affect clinical test values by turning urine yellow.
