Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or infants under 3 months of age should not take this drug. Before taking this medication, consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have hyperoxaluria (a condition in which excessive amounts of oxalate is excreted in the urine), are pregnant or may be pregnant, are nursing, are premature infants, infants, have gout or kidney stones, are hypersensitivity to Yellow No. 5 or are experiencing a deficiency in folic acid. Be sure to follow the prescribed usage and dosage. It may interfere with the detection of blood sugar during various urinalysis tests, and may affect clinical test values by turning urine yellow. If symptoms do not improve even after taking it for about 1 month, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
