Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or to soybean oil, soybeans, or peanuts, or infants under 12 months of age, should not take this drug. Before taking this drug, women who are pregnant or may be pregnant, lactating mothers, premature babies, infants, hyperoxaluria (a condition in which excessive amounts of oxalate are excreted in the urine), gastrointestinal diseases such as peptic ulcer, chronic ulcerative colitis, and localized colitis, heart and circulatory system dysfunction, kidney disorders, hypoproteinemia, gout, kidney stones, hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic hyperlipidemia, pancreatitis, etc. Patients with abnormal fat metabolism, patients who need to administer lipid emulsions with caution, patients with a predisposition to thrombosis, or patients with or experience hypersensitivity to Yellow No. 4, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Be sure to follow the prescribed usage and dosage. It may interfere with the detection of blood sugar during various urinalysis tests. If symptoms do not improve even after taking it for about 1 month, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
