Patients with or experienced hypersensitivity to this drug, infants under 3 months of age, nursing mothers, and patients with genetic problems such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this drug. Before taking this medicine, avoid children under 2 years of age, pregnant women or breastfeeding women, the elderly, people with weak bodies, people with high fever, allergic constitution, people who have experienced allergic reactions due to drugs, people with liver, kidney, heart, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma (eye pain, blurry eyes, etc.), difficulty urinating, epilepsy, smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, excessive phlegm. Patients with accompanying cough, cough that persists or recurs for more than 1 week, chronic cough, cough accompanied by fever/rash or persistent headache, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Be sure to follow the prescribed usage and dosage. When administering to children, administer under the guidance and supervision of a guardian. Give syrup to infants and children under 7 years of age. You may feel drowsy after taking this medication, so be careful when driving or operating machinery. If symptoms do not improve even after taking it 5 to 6 times, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.
