포리비돈연고(포비돈요오드)

Patients with hypersensitivity to this drug, newborns and infants under 6 months of age, before and after radioactive iodine treatment, patients with abnormal thyroid function such as nodular goiter, lipopathic goiter, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, patients with renal failure, and patients with dermatitis herpetiformis should not use this drug. Before using this medicine, pregnant or lactating women, patients with severe symptoms such as burn patients, people with thyroid disease, or kidney failure should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Do not use for ophthalmic or internal use. Be careful not to let the solution get into your eyes. If it gets into your eyes, wash them immediately with clean water. Wash and disinfect the affected area thoroughly. When using on severe wounds, use distilled water for injection or sterilized purified water as a diluent. Do not use tap or purified water. If it gets on your clothes, wash it immediately and it can be easily washed with water. Synthetic fibers can be removed with ammonia water or sodium thiosulfate solution. Soaps weaken the sterilizing effect, so wash them thoroughly to remove them before using this medicine. If used right before delivery, wash and bathe the newborn's eyes as soon as possible after delivery to prevent them from sticking. When using on patients with extensive burns, ensure adequate hydration. When using for ulcers caused by burns, use only for ulcers caused by secondary damage after burns. Do not use on new burns. Leave a gap of 1 to 2 weeks between the use of this drug and scintimetry. In case of infection such as peritonitis or osteomyelitis, wash with saline solution before using this medicine. Absorption of the iodine from this drug through healthy or damaged skin may interfere with thyroid function tests.
